Tasting Notes

Not only was 1975 the year Lambert Bridge was founded, but it was also the year that former Maple Vineyard owners Tina + Tom Maple were married in front of our newly constructed tasting room fireplace. Consisting of beautiful, head-trained vines that evoke goblets, this vineyard is a rich part of our Lambert Bridge history. 

The 2023 Maple Vineyards Zinfandel opens with warm red fruit, a medley of baking spices, and hints of rooibos on the nose. Bursts of juicy raspberry and cherry continue on the palate, accompanied by subtle notes of black tea and white pepper. Youthful tannins and a beautiful acidity lead to a generous, lingering finish leaving you wanting more.

This Zinfandel is a natural companion for casual yet flavorpacked fare—think grilled burgers, smoky barbecue, and outdoor gatherings under the sun.
