Tasting Notes

A beautiful ruby color in the glass, the 2023 Sonoma County Cabernet Franc tells the story of cool growing seasons and exceptional quality. It opens with vibrant aromas of fresh red fruit, dried cranberry and is layered with sweet pie spice and a subtle hint of graphite. On the palate, the red fruit carries through with notes of pomegranate seed and sweet tobacco, framed by a gentle oak influence that adds depth without overwhelming its natural elegance. Its youthful texture and lively structure are captivating now, but will continue to reward those patient enough to let it rest in the cellar.
