Tasting Notes

Finding Semillon fruit in Sonoma County is a rarity, so we
were thrilled when we stumbled upon this beautiful Bordeaux
varietal at one of our favorite vineyard sites. Sei Querce
Vineyards, or “Six Oaks” in Italian, is farmed biodynamically
and organically producing grapes with integrity, finesse, and
balance. With notes of fresh apricot, gardenia, walnut and a
hint of honeycomb, our Sei Querce Semillon features a lush,
silky texture that lingers on the palate. This food friendly
wine pairs perfectly with pasta dishes like Spaghetti alle
vongole but is equally enjoyable all on its own – ideally with
sunshine and a warm, summer breeze!
