2021 Old Vine Zinfandel
Dry Creek Valley
From The Winemaker
"There is a special feeling when walking through an old vine vineyard. The sense is that the vines know themselves and have seen it all before. We're excited to share our Old Vine Zinfandel- five vineyards, some older than your great grandparents, blended together and telling their best story." -Jennifer Higgins, VP of Winemaking + Vineyards
Tasting Notes
We are proud to introduce our first-ever Old Vine Zinfandel made up of five iconic vineyard properties, all located in our Dry Creek Valley backyard. Zinfandel's origins in the Dry Creek Valley dates to the first plantings in the late 1800s and its prominence and reputation in the region has endured. Comprised of fruit coming from 100 year-old vines, our Old Vine Zinfandel features a sophistication and elegance that exudes from every sip. Flavors of pomegranate, red plum and hints of white pepper make it the perfect pairing with pizza, your favorite pasta dish, or a juicy dry-aged burger - you really can't go wrong!
