Tasting Notes

Each year, our Winemaker, Jennifer Higgins, spends days tasting through the best lots of our Bordeaux varietals curating this special blend. Although each vintage is unique, this wine always remains Merlot predominant. With just one swirl in the glass, the Crane Creek Cuvée transports you to the heart of our Chambers Vineyard. Aromas of red fruit and anise greet you on the nose with subtle hints of coyote brush and wood spice. Ripe red fruit continues on the palate complemented by a lovely texture and flavors of black cherry and cassis. Firm, rich tannins offer an elegant texture while complex notes of sweet tobacco leaf and baked cherry round out the finish. Balanced with layers of complexity, this wine will elevate any occasion!
