2018 Crane Creek Cuvée
Sonoma County
From The Winemaker

Tasting Notes
For almost two decades, the crafting of Crane Creek Cuvée has been an exacting ritual with ever-exciting results at Lambert Bridge. 2018 is no exception. It opens with dark, mysterious aromatics reminiscent of huckleberry and brambly boysenberry pie with accents of purple florals and rose petal. It's full-bodied, bold and layered with tastes of blackberry, blueberry and cassis along with hints of bergamot and mocha. The foundation of this wine is a collection of our best Merlot lots blended with 8% Cabernet Sauvignon to give the wine backbone and structure. The small amount of Petit Verdot and Malbec contribute to the supple texture and lingering florals. It has been described as mind-blowing, and we graciously accept that compliment.
