“Blending season is one of my favorite times of year and 2007 was such a spectacular vintage. We found excellent structure in all four components of this Crane Creek Cuvée blend and they came together as a polished, layered and well integrated wine. It was exceptional upon release and I love the way this wine is aging – it’s even more versatile for food pairings and the rich velvety texture continues to intensify.” – Jill Davis, Winemaker

2013 Library Release Notes
In 2007 an exceptional growing season produced perfectly ripened fruit and wine with power and structure. During four years of extended bottle aging rich tannins have integrated, increasing complexity and enhancing fruit flavors of dark cherry, strawberry and currant. Enjoy now or cellar for up to another seven to ten years.

Original Tasting Notes
For the 2007 vintage of our signature Crane Creek Cuvee we have carefully selected fruit from four distinct appellations to ensure that only the best of the best fruit is harvested for this blend. You are greeted first by aromas of vanilla, sweet tobacco and a multiplicity of dark red fruits. This wine is plush on the palate with mouth filling flavors of fresh raspberry jam and black cherry. Lively acidity and firm supple tannins lead into a long lingering finish.

This wine is notably age-worthy but can also be enjoyed tonight with a rib roast, chanterelle mushroom risotto and roasted cauliflower.
