2008 Chambers Vineyard Chardonnay is our first release of Estate Grown, Single Vineyard Chardonnay. Adding to the uniqueness of this richly complex wine is the fact that it is 100% Old Wente Clone, an heirloom variety that is not widely planted. This prestigious clone with its tiny clusters, small berries and shy yields provides a unique flavor profile and structure that is reminiscent of its European counterparts.
You are greeted by fragrant aromas of lemon blossom and winter pear. Your palate is treated to full flavors ranging from green apple, to lemon curd and citrus notes with a hint of sweet vanilla from the French oak.
