“2006 was an exceptional vintage and I am very happy with the way this wine is aging. This was my first full vintage with Lambert Bridge and we had a renewed focus on very high quality fruit and a new barrel regime to include only French oak. This wine is fruit forward with seamless integration and it lingers beautifully. The powerful structure gives it incredible longevity to enjoy for years to come.”
– Jill Davis, Winemaker

Tasting Notes
The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon is aging gracefully with sun ripened dark red fruit aromas of black currant and blackberry compote that are intermingled with cocoa powder and sweet tobacco leaf. The mouthfeel is round, layered and rich with a supple and lingering finish. Enjoy now or age for another eight to ten years.

Vineyard Notes
The long growing season in 2006 produced concentrated and well-structured wines giving us latitude in blending. We included some of our other Bordeaux varietals in our Cabernet Sauvignon blend bringing added depth and complexity. We sourced our fruit from four different regions of Sonoma County to capture everything the season had to offer.
