Bevill Vineyard

Dry Creek Valley

100% Viognier

2009 brings our second vintage of vineyard designated Viognier from the Bevill Vineyard located in the Dry Creek Valley. Our Viognier is stainless steel fermented to five brix and is then transferred into a combination of new, one and two year old French oak barrels to complete its fermentation and aging. While winemaking styles have remained the same from 2008 to 2009, characteristics and the uniqueness of this wine are a function of the vintage.

Aromatics are that of orange blossom, lemon curd and sweet vanilla pod with a hint of minerality. Flavors which are consistent to the aromas are enhanced by the four months of oak aging which also adds to the textural richness of this palate. Crisp and bright, a lovely hint of lemon completes your flavorful experience.

This Viognier works well as an aperitif and can carry you through dinner as it pairs well with salads, soups, seafood and especially turkey dinner.
