Lambert Bridge has carved out a niche as a producer of completely hand-crafted, impeccably balanced wines that mix old-world refinement with perfectly ripened grape varietals only available from Sonoma County’s unique and treasured terroirs. Our wines are complex and expressive, and meant to be enjoyed with friends and family over conversation and cherished meals.
We describe our wine style as offering European elegance and refinement, coupled with the intense flavor and bright aromatics that are found only in Sonoma County fruit. This style generally means lower alcohol levels with higher acidity and is crafted to be food friendly and age worthy.
Our approach to crafting quality, world-class wines begins in the vineyards where we use small-vine viticulture practices, including the use of double Guyot pruning and training, rigorously managed canopies, closely planted vine density, and careful attention at each step of the vines growth. This “precision” viticulture ensures we grow only grapes of intense flavor and concentration.
Our winemakers shepherd our grapes through the growing cycle, monitoring them; hand-selecting shoots to prune and clusters to watch; and tasting individual berries to ensure we only pick fruit at its optimal ripeness. Bunches are then hand-selected, and our prized “Le Trieur” sorting system enables us to sort these clusters down to individual berries. Only fully mature, perfectly-ripe, and hand-sorted fruit becomes our elegant, very limited-production wines.

“Hand-crafting a truly exceptional wine is an intoxicating art,” says winemaker Jill Davis. “It involves hundreds of decisions each day—all geared toward capturing the character of a perfectly grown grape in a glass.”
The pedigree of Lambert Bridge wines starts with the pedigree of our grapes – where year round we partner with loyal growers to produce grapes of the highest quality our micro-climates and soils will provide.
